This TV Samsung LC-37D7U is amazing. I looked at power usage for several settings.
TV off:
Standby
Mode 2 (TVGOS off): 16 Watts
Mode 1 (TVGOS on): 36 Watts
Mode 1 is unnecessary with TVGOS off.
Mode 2 is problematic with TVGOS on.
Backlight
TV (LC-37D7U) on:
